I spotted this big (~.75"/~1.5cm) spider on a beautiful web the other day, when it was windy and I didn’t have a mirror. On errands today, I passed by and found it not in the center of its web like before, but hidden away for a gruesome lunch time. Not sure what this lump of insect flesh on the menu is—perhaps a bumblebee cruelly crushed into a near-sphere—but I hope it didn’t suffer long. This stereo is a bit imperfect in terms of focus, wind, and the spider moving between shots. The anaglyph is flipped to feature the sharper of the original images.
