Be careful what you read!…
DISCONNECT was written by Edward M Burhans, who I knew simply as Edd—a long-time family friend, who passed away on August 21. The novel is about disconnecting parts of yourself into alternate personas, who are capable of (scary) things you are not. So in a strange way, this is a tribute to Edd…may he rest in peace.
In general: this is what happens when you give me a tripod. The second picture is a maybe less-creepy version; meanwhile the anaglyph version of the first picture is based on a slightly different edit. This is a composite of multiple shots taken with an actual stereocamera (old LG Thrill 3D phone). I wish the background figures had more depth, but this is my only dual-lens device for now.
